Type of employment: This is a contractual role under Project Management Unit (PMU) of GeM.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with a minimum of 6 years for Manager and 8 years for Senior Manager, of total experience in financial analysis / consulting domain with a strong background in strategic initiatives, finance transformation, payment solutions, consulting, and data monetization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial analysis, and strategic planning, with a specific focus on e-commerce, fintech and startups. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing industry connections and supporting Business Development initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of e-commerce and public procurement space, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and market benchmarking reports to support business decisions.
• Identify and evaluate potential collaborations, and partnerships with Industries, Academia, Startups and FinTech.
• Explore new business opportunities and revenue models within the e-commerce and fintech sectors.
• Develop and implement standardized templates and processes for creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) across the Business Finance vertical.
• Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate financial performance and strategic insights.
• Work closely with external stakeholders to promote financial innovation in government procurement.
• Prepare and present financial insights, market analysis, and strategy reports to senior management and the board.
• Lead projects focused on business growth and financial innovation.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and partner with respective teams to develop action plan for topline growth as well as cost optimization.
• Handling of any other responsibility as assigned from time to time.
  

Professional Experience Essential

• Minimum 6 years experience for Manager and 8 years experience for Senior Manager role in the following area:
• Financial Analysis / Consulting

Desirable Skill Set

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications

Essential

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University B.E./B.Tech from recognized institutes/ Universities will be preferred.
• Full time MBA or equivalent degree or diploma in Finance/Technology/Digital Business, or a related field is a must.
• Preference will be given to:
• Candidates with graduation and / or post-graduation from IITs / IIMs.
• Professional certifications like FRM, CFA, PMP, SEBI, etc.

GeM selection committee reserves the right to relax or extend the eligibility criteria and educational qualification.

In case numbers of applications received are very high, GeM reserves the right to shortlist candidates and invite only shortlisted candidates for interview round.
