Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SFCC Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining eCommerce websites using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This role involves hands-on development on both the front end and back end of the SFCC platform, utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC) for building modern, scalable, and efficient user interfaces.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full-Stack Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance eCommerce websites on the SFCC platform, including both front-end and back-end components. Implement Lightning Web Components (LWC) to build rich, reusable, and responsive interfaces.
- Integration: Integrate with third-party APIs and services, such as payment gateways, shipping providers,and CRM systems, to enhance site functionality and improve the customer experience.
- Customization: Customize SFCC to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom code, implementing data integrations, and developing new features using SFCC s scripting language and LWC.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal site performance and scalability by identifying and resolving issues in SFCC architecture, database, or third-party integrations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and regression tests, to maintain high-quality standards and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA testers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet client
expectations. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest SFCC and LWC best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance development processes and product quality.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all development work, including architecture, design patterns, and system configurations.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development, with a strong portfolio of eCommerce projects.
- Front-End Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong experience in developing and deploying Lightning Web Components (LWC) for enhanced user experiences.
- Back-End Skills: Strong experience with server-side JavaScript, Node.js, and experience with SFCC s proprietary scripting language.
- Database Management: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as experience working with data in SFCC environments.
- API Integration: Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and services within SFCC, including RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues within the SFCC ecosystem
