Web Designer/Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Web Designer/Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design and development, with a proven track record of creating visually stunning and functional websites that meet client objectives and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and specifications.
• Design and develop responsive websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance across all devices and browsers.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows effectively.
• Translate design mockups into clean, semantic HTML/CSS code, ensuring compliance with web standards and best practices.
• Develop custom themes and templates for content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Implement front-end interactivity and dynamic content using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and other relevant technologies.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues related to usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and search engine visibility using techniques such as minification, caching, and schema markup.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web design and development, and share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or Bulma.
• Solid understanding of server-side programming languages and frameworks (e.g., PHP, Ruby on Rails, Django).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing accessible designs.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients.
