Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience specializing in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive design experience, project management skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. This role involves overseeing the development of both residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality designs that meet client expectations and align with building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design of residential and commercial projects, from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints while maintaining design quality and meeting client expectations.
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their project goals and translating their vision into actionable design solutions.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to junior architects and design teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
• Design Review & Coordination: Review designs for functionality, feasibility, and aesthetics, while coordinating with engineering teams (structural, mechanical, and electrical), interior designers, and other consultants.
• Construction Administration: Oversee construction phases, liaising with contractors and ensuring that the design intent is maintained throughout the build.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
• Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable building practices and energy-efficient design principles into projects, with a focus on green building certifications where applicable.
• Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating design concepts and rationale.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in architecture, with a strong focus on both residential and commercial building projects.
• Licensing: Registered Architect or on the path to licensure.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Skills:
• Strong design skills with the ability to balance creativity and functionality.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience managing both residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Comprehensive understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
