Job DescriptionRole Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager for International Marketing to lead our business development and marketing efforts in global markets. This role involves representing our company to potential clients and stakeholders, driving sales opportunities, and expanding our international presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for fostering client relationships, managing the sales cycle from inquiry to closing, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives to maximize revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement Relationship Building:Meet with international clients and visit various companies across global regions to effectively represent our company s products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive business growth and enhance customer loyalty.
Understand client requirements and tailor marketing strategies to suit diverse international markets.
Visit potential clients and businesses to generate inquiries and create new sales opportunities in international markets.
Proactively identify new business prospects and market opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to develop customized solutions.
Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to ensure alignment of client needs and product offerings.
Quotation Management Sales Follow-Up:
Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and providing detailed product information.
Keep the management team updated on quotation status, sales progress, and relevant market trends.
Assist clients through the negotiation process to close sales and secure contracts.
Participate in the international tender opening and submission process, ensuring that all tender requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare competitive and detailed proposals, making recommendations based on client needs and market research.
Customer Site/Factory Visits Technical Support:
Accompany international customers on factory and site visits to demonstrate the capabilities of our products and services.
Provide on-site technical support, address client inquiries, and ensure a clear understanding of product features, benefits, and operational capabilities.
Provide on-ground support for exhibitions and international trade shows, representing the company and engaging with potential customers to generate leads.
Organize and manage exhibition booths, ensuring that products and services are effectively showcased to a diverse international audience.
Gather feedback from international clients to understand customer satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the management team and help refine marketing strategies.
Develop and execute international sales strategies, focusing on expanding market share and increasing revenue across global regions.
Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and report on progress toward sales targets and objectives.
Continuously evaluate market trends to adjust sales tactics and ensure business objectives are met.
Key Qualifications Skills:
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in international sales and marketing, particularly in engineering or technical industries.
Strong understanding of international business practices, market trends, and cross-cultural communication.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and conduct site visits.
5+ years of experience in international sales and marketing, preferably in an engineering or technical field.
Previous experience managing global accounts and understanding of international tendering processes.
Experience with CRM software and other sales-related tools.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Regular international travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in factory/site visits.
Role involves both remote and on-site activities, with a strong emphasis on relationship management and customer satisfaction.
