Role Overview

Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE-II) to join our Content Lab team. Youll focus on developing cutting-edge backend solutions for AI-driven content transformation and video processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex backend projects involving multiple engineers, such as performance improvements and migrations

• Design and implement backend solutions for video processing features and content generation

• Develop and optimize algorithms for clip relevancy, completeness, and human-like content generation

• Collaborate with product and data science teams to refine and implement new AI-driven features

• Contribute to the development of internal tools for fast iteration and optimal prompt selection

• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teams technical growth

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science from a top-tier institution (IITs, NITs, BITs or equivalent)

• 7+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong proficiency in backend technologies and API development

• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in LLMs and text processing

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering

• Strong background in MLOps, especially around LLM deployment and evaluation

• Experience with performance optimization and debugging in complex applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ffmpeg or other video processing technologies

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience working closely with ML/AI/Relevance teams
