About the Function

The Holidays business caters to diverse segments of travelers worldwide. It offers dynamic or customized travel and tour packages, allowing consumers to create and design their own holidays, alongside fixed departure holiday packages with pre-designed itineraries.

An integral part of this business is the Franchise sales channel, which focuses on identifying key markets for Holiday customers. By onboarding Franchise Partners, it aims to increase the Holiday business share, ensuring a broader reach and enhanced customer satisfaction.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our franchise expansion efforts. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in franchise development, a history of successfully growing franchise networks, and outstanding interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and onboarding prospective franchise partners, negotiating franchise agreements, and supporting the seamless launch and growth of new franchise locations.

What will you be doing:

Franchise Expansion:

• Identify and evaluate potential franchise markets and locations.
• Develop strategic plans for expansion in target regions.
• Build a pipeline of qualified franchise prospects.

Franchise Recruitment:

• Establish and nurture relationships with prospective franchisees.
• Conduct presentations, meetings, and applicant evaluations.
• Negotiate franchise agreements, including terms and fees.

Franchise Support:

• Oversee onboarding and training for new franchisees.
• Monitor store rollouts using Gantt charts and ensure timely execution.
• Provide ongoing guidance to optimize franchise performance.

Market Analysis:

• Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes.
• Identify growth opportunities through market research.
• Deliver regular updates on expansion progress.

Compliance & Legal:

• Ensure franchise agreements meet legal standards.
• Work with legal teams to draft and review contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of franchise documentation.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage budgets for expansion initiatives.
• Monitor and report financial performance related to franchise growth.

Qualification & Experience:

• A bachelors or masters degree from a reputable institution with 3 to 6 years of experience in a Franchise role or a related field is desirable.

Key Success Factors for the Role:

• Proven expertise in negotiation, relationship-building and effective communication, with strong presentation skills.
• Understanding of franchise ecosystem, market analysis, and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools to support operational efficiency.
• Willingness to travel as needed for business development opportunities.
