Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering highest quality in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Responsible for estimating test efforts and communicate test results.
• Responsible for enhancing and extend the automation library and framework.
• Experience with developing and executing automation suites.
• Experience with SQL, Tomcat, Linux and Java.
• Experience with scripting knowledge of Shellscript, Groovy desired.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues required.
• Passionate for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code through the use of automation tools.
• Strong time management skills with a history of meeting commitments.
• Understanding the requirements from concerned teams, preparing execution plans, devising automation strategy and automation of test cases.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and architecture to provide automated solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

• Hands on exposure in Selenium Webdriver / SOAP UI / QTP.
• Working knowledge of one or more software programming languages like Java, C#, php, groovy.
• Exposure to open source tools like Jenkins/ TestNG/ Appium/ API automation testing.
• Good experience in shell scripting.
• Proficiency in handling complex db queries.
• Exposure in implementing CI.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Should be good in communication and presentation skills.
• Should be a self-starter with high initiative, team player, and enthusiastic to learn and deliver on latest tools and technologies.
• 2-7 years of strong hands-on testing experience of web applications, desktop application and web services.
