Senior Officer - EHS

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating & Driving the GAVL level goal of Score Zero – a program towards zero accidents across all the factories in the region & Implementation of the GAVL EHS standards
• Implementation & Sustenance of GAVL Environment, Health & Safety Management system in the region
• Drive safety culture across the factories in the business/ regions by implementing SHE pillar (BBS program)
• Help the plant team for investigating incidents with proper RCA & suggest CAPA.
• Review & ensure the compliance with regards to EHS legislations in the region
• Review of Monthly MIS of region, Communicate to HO and ensure continual improvement.
• Coordinate Monthly EHS committee & ensuring the MoM is circulated to all the committee members and review the action plan
• Manage key performance Indicators (KPI) for the region and drive necessary efforts to achieve them.
• Updating emergency response plans for all the units and conducting mock drills for different types of emergencies identified as per the emergency response procedure.
• Review the effectiveness of Permit to Work system and updating the formats as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Any engineering degree and Diploma/advance diploma in industrial safety/ NEBOSH/M.E in Industrial Safety or equivalent.
