About the role

As a B2B Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the institutional sales strategy and accelerating growth in specific categories that enhance our company's profitability. You will be responsible for the entire profit and loss (P&L) of this division.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic planning and vision

- Develop and implement a B2B sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the companys overall business goals

- Identify target markets, ideal customer profiles and customer segments for growth

- Forecast trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry developments

2. Revenue generation and sales management

- Drive sales efforts and revenue targets to meet or exceed company objectives

- Develop and maintain relationships with high-value clients, partners and stakeholders to encourage repeat business and referrals

3. Team leadership and development

- Recruit, develop and retain top sales talent to build a high-performing B2B team

- Coach and mentor team members, ensuring they have the skills and tools to succeed

- Foster a positive, results-driven environment that encourages collaboration and growth

4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

- Establish strong client relationships through continuous communication and a customer-first approach

- Oversee CRM practices to ensure accurate, actionable data for tracking customer interactions and performance

- Proactively address and resolve customer issues to improve satisfaction and loyalty

5. Market analysis and competitive intelligence

- Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on competitors, trends and potential new business opportunities

- Analyze competitors products, services and market positioning to identify differentiators and advantages

- Leverage insights from market data to make informed decisions about strategic partnerships and product positioning

6. Partnership and channel development

- Identify and build strategic alliances with key partners to enhance market reach and product distribution

- Negotiate and manage channel partnerships, joint ventures and alliances

- Manage China desk and improve the product pipeline

- Create frameworks for co-marketing and sales collaborations with partners to increase visibility and sales

7. Financial management and budgeting

- Manage the B2B department budget and allocate resources effectively for optimal return on investment

- Manage the P&L for the B2B business division

- Prepare reports and financial forecasts to support senior leadership in decision-making

8. Data-driven decision-making and reporting

- Use data analytics to monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and overall customer engagement

- Present regular performance reports to senior leadership, including analysis and recommendations for improvement

9. Innovation and continuous improvement

- Encourage innovation within the team to identify and implement new approaches to B2B sales and customer engagement

- Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices, integrating new tools that improve team efficiency and customer experience

- Create a feedback loop with customers to continuously improve products and services based on client needs

Who are we looking for?


Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, with a Master’s in Agri-Business Management

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in managing institutional business

Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond effectively to shifting priorities
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to make sound, goal-aligned decisions
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Strong analytical skills
