JOB PROFILE

Key Result Areas:

1. Knowledge of Electricals, applications electronics in automotive / Earthmoving / Forklift industries.

2. Quality control & assurance of Final Product.

3. Inspection and Test procedures preparation.

4. Facility management & Automation of inspection equipment.

5. Defect analysis & CAPA in final product.

6. Analysis & Improvements of Line Rejections.

7. Safety & System management.

8. Inter-department Coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

1. Knowledge of Electricals, applications electronics in automotive / Earthmoving / Forklift industries.

- Responsible for receiving electric material.

2. Quality of Final Product.

- Ensuring zero customer complaints in the final product.

- QA at Electric vendors.

- Co-ordination with Manufacturing, Design, Materials, Service & field team for QA.

- Travelling to customers & vendors for QA.

- Knowledge of Quality core tools - PFMEA, 8D, MSA and SPC.

- Ensuring the Inspection of the final product as per specifications and applicable standards.

3. Inspection and Test procedures.

- Ensuring the Calibration & Maintenance of measuring and inspection equipment-s

- Preparation of Inspection and test procedures

- Auditing of Assembly procedures and SOPs in the assembly shop.

4. Facility management & Automation of inspection equipment.

- Development of inspection test set-up and automation of inspection procedures.

- Customer & Third-Party Inspection Handling.

5. Defect analysis & CAPA in final product.

- Trouble shooting of electric faults in Forklifts, CAPA & feedback to vendors.

6. Analysis & Improvements of Line Rejections.

- Data capturing & Analysis of the rework and rejection at final stage and work towards the reduction of the same.

- Understand the Designers/Customers requirement and ensure the same in final product.

- Analysis & clearance of Line rejections in system.

7. Safety & System management.

- Ensuring Manpower control and discipline.

8. Inter-department Co-ordination.

- Training and Qualification of Sub-ordinates & Workman.

- Managing and guiding the team on day-to-day Basis.
