Job Description

As the General Manager Sales Channel Partner, you will spearhead the expansion and optimisation of our channel partner ecosystem, driving 40% of sales through strategic partnerships. This role demands leadership in streamlining processes, enhancing cost efficiency and fostering strong partnerships to achieve revenue targets while ensuring alignment with the Godrej brand values.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Cost optimisation
    • Design and implement strategies to reduce Channel Partner Cost of Sales through operational efficiency and process improvements
    • Boost revenue contributions from channel partners while minimizing costs
    • Regularly monitor and analyse cost metrics to ensure adherence to company targets
  • Channel Partner expansion
    • Drive sales growth by expanding the channel partner network across all regions: North, South, East, West and Mumbai
    • Strengthen channel partner relationships to enhance engagement and productivity
    • Align channel partners with Godrej s brand and objectives for mutual success
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Lead the development and implementation of SOPs for channel partners to standardize processes
    • Monitor adherence to SOPs across all zones, ensuring operational uniformity
    • Identify and resolve challenges related to SOP execution
  • Strategic initiatives
    • Develop and roll out strategic sales initiatives to scale channel partner contributions
    • Benchmark against industry best practices and competitors to refine strategies
    • Drive the adoption of technology and automation within the channel partner network for operational excellence
  • Performance monitoring
    • Establish clear KPIs to measure channel partner performance and sales effectiveness
    • Analyse and report on sales performance, CP COS and regional achievements to senior leadership
    • Leverage data for informed decision-making and transparent communication
  • Key Account management
    • Build strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring their objectives align with company goals
    • Set measurable goals for sales growth and market penetration
    • Monitor performance through KPIs, driving value for both parties
  • Escalation management
    • Proactively identify and address challenges faced by key accounts
    • Resolve conflicts with long-term, mutually beneficial solutions to maintain positive relationship

MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
 
Experience:
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in real estate or allied industries
  • Expertise in channel partner management, cost optimisation, and strategic sales initiatives
Skills:
  • Proven track record in reducing CP COS and driving operational efficiency
  • Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and SOP implementation
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and analytical abilities
  • Adept at cross-regional collaboration and managing diverse teams
