Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent consultant to lead the implementation and documentation of endpoint compliance policies using a centralized Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). The consultant will ensure that our organizations endpoints adhere to ISO 27001 Information Security and SOC 2 guidelines. This role requires expertise in endpoint security, policy creation, and compliance frameworks, along with the ability to document and implement best practices.

1. Policy Development and Implementation:
   • Analyze current endpoint security posture and compliance gaps.
   • Develop and implement policies using Trellix ePO to align endpoints with ISO 27001 InfoSec and SOC 2 standards.
   • Customize endpoint protection rules, including antivirus, firewall, encryption, and data loss prevention.
2. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure endpoints meet compliance requirements.
   • Establish monitoring mechanisms for ongoing compliance and security.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Document all implemented policies, procedures, and best practices for audit readiness.
   • Prepare compliance reports and ensure transparency in policy enforcement.
4. Collaboration and Training:
   • Work independently to drive the project while coordinating with internal teams when needed.
   • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer on maintaining compliance with implemented policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in implementing endpoint compliance policies using Trellix ePO.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Security Management System and SOC 2 compliance requirements.
• Expertise in endpoint security technologies such as antivirus, encryption, and firewall management.
• Excellent documentation skills, including creating policies, procedures, and audit-ready materials.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
