Job Summary:
The International Projects Manager will oversee, manage, and coordinate multiple construction and real estate development projects across various countries. The role requires an individual with a civil engineering background and extensive construction management experience. The ideal candidate will lead project teams, ensure compliance with local regulations, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage international construction and real estate development projects from inception through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Construction Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to civil and construction engineering teams.
- Ensure all construction activities are compliant with international building codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution of construction plans.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international partners, contractors, and governmental authorities to facilitate project approvals and smooth operations.
Risk & Quality Management:
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor project quality and performance, conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
Financial Management:
- Manage project budgets, forecast spending, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with internal departments such as legal, finance, procurement, and logistics to ensure project alignment and execution.
- Oversee the coordination of permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals in different countries.
Reporting:
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, including progress reports, financial status, and any potential risks or issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
