Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst with 5–10 years of expertise in monitoring and securing organizational networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of penetration testing, risk assessment, and incident management, with a proven track record of enhancing security measures and guiding strategic initiatives to protect critical systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advanced Threat Detection & Monitoring:
• Continuously monitor network activity, systems, and applications to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
• Analyze complex logs, alerts, and data to detect advanced persistent threats and vulnerabilities.
2. Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management:
• Lead regular penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Prioritize and oversee the remediation of vulnerabilities across systems and networks.
3. Incident Response & Management:
• Oversee the response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
• Conduct post-incident analyses and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
4. Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments, prioritizing critical risks to the organization.
• Develop and enforce mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential threats.
5. Policy Development & Compliance:
• Create, review, and enforce security policies, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Ensure organizational compliance with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
6. Team Leadership & Mentorship:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity analysts.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement security initiatives effectively.
7. Security Strategy & Innovation:
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Recommend and implement innovative tools and practices to enhance security posture.

Key Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
• Advanced knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and threat modeling.
• Extensive experience in incident management and forensic investigations.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and advanced monitoring systems.
• Strong understanding of compliance and governance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on monitoring and threat management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
