Role: Software Engineer AWS Developer (Full Stack)

Job Description:

As AWS Developer (Full Stack), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Java and AngularJS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end components, delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for keeping up with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow developers to design and implement robust software solutions.
• Participating in daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective meetings during project implementation phase.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using AngularJS, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and back-end services using NodeJS or Java to support front-end functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other development challenges.
• Work with databases and data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements to the development process.

Skills

• Proven experience (minimum 1+ years) as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and AngularJS.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Strong understanding of front-end development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS concepts like two-way data binding, directives, and dependency injection.
• Experience in API development and integration, including designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in back-end development with Java, including multithreading, memory management, and exception handling.
• Solid knowledge of database systems, including SQL, relational database design, and creating quality stored procedures and queries.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of security standards, including OWASP guidelines, to develop secure applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management and collaborative development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot both front-end and back-end issues.
• Experience in AWS cloud services and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Certification

• Bachelors or associate degree in IT discipline
• Certification in AWS (AWS Certified Developer – Associate or equivalent) is a must.
