Role & responsibilities
1.Compliance with Regulations: Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
2.Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
3. Safety Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for all employees to promote a culture of safety.
4. Emergency Preparedness: Establish and maintain effective emergency response plans and Procedures, including regular drills.
5.Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate any safety incidents or accidents thoroughly and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
6.Workplace Safety Inspections: Regular inspect the plant facilities to identify and rectify
Potential safety hazards.
7.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and maintain Standards for safety equipment.
8.Health and Safety Policies: Develop and update health and safety policies in line with industry best practices and legal requirements.
9.Environmental Protection: Oversee the management of hazardous materials and waste to Minimize environmental impact.
10. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve safety processes and procedures, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from safety incidents.
Preferrable Candidate :
Candidate worked with Chemicals and Paint Industries.
Required Skills :
Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems, Compliance Management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to Environmental norms and disposal procedures as per
The Environment Protection Act, 1986.
Knowledge of Safety Audit as per IS 14489.
