Accounting Clerk

Opportunity:

Glotman•Simpson is looking for an organized and professional Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Chennai, India office. The successful candidate will be a team player, have strong communication skills, and integrity. The Junior Accountant will report to the Financial Accountant and be responsible for providing fullcycle account support.

Responsibilities:

• Project billing;
• Project initiation/creation and maintenance;
• Maintaining list of proposals;
• Collections;
• Assistance with the preparation of month-end and year-end;
• Assistance in Accounts payable;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements + Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relate work experience;
• Experience with Deltek system or other ERP software an asset;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); and,
• Organized, accurate and deadline orientated.
