Logistics Executive

Responsibilities:

• Process sales orders based on received purchase orders (POs) and ensure smooth coordination between internal teams for order fulfilment.
• Oversee the logistics process, including obtaining freight quotes, managing shipping arrangements, preparing shipping documents, and securing necessary certifications (e.g., Certificates of Origin) for exports.
• Prepare and review all necessary documents for export shipments, including customs clearance paperwork and certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers by providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring timely delivery of required documents for smooth transactions.
• Maintain and update records related to sales orders, shipping, invoices, and financial data to ensure organized and efficient tracking.
• Compile and maintain regular reports on sales and logistics data, tracking performance and providing insights to support internal decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Handle customer complaints and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in logistics and export processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on logistics and customer support processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics and customer support.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics and customer support operations.
• Support the finance team in reconciling invoices and managing payment processes related to logistics.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction in all interactions.
