Reporting to Business Head/CEO
- As a National Technical Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the technical evaluation processes and ensuring the efficiency and quality of valuation reports.
- You will be responsible for managing, training, and leading a team of technical professionals, maintaining best practices, and driving the strategic direction of technical operations.
Below is a detailed breakdown of your responsibilities:
Periodic Review of Valuation Reports:
- Conduct periodic random reviews of valuation reports to assess their accuracy and quality.
- Identify any concerns, discrepancies, or issues and promptly communicate them to the management team for further action.
- Ensure all reports adhere to organizational standards and industry regulations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, establish, and manage a team of Technical Managers, Area Technical Managers, and Regional Technical Managers within the zone.
- Develop strategies to guide the team in managing and improving technical processes across various regions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
Training and Performance Evaluation:
- Design and implement regular training sessions to enhance the technical proficiency of the team.
- Assess individual team members' skills and performance on a regular basis to ensure they meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide ongoing support to ensure team members' professional growth and development.
Turnaround Time (TAT) Management:
- Set clear TAT targets for the technical evaluation process and ensure that these targets are consistently met.
- Monitor the progress of technical evaluations and address any delays or bottlenecks to maintain high efficiency.
Best Practices and Process Optimization:
- Review and update best practices for the structure, content, and methodology of valuation reports to ensure they align with current industry standards and organizational goals.
- Work closely with the team to implement new strategies or technologies that enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of valuation reports.
- Ensure that the valuation reports meet the specific needs of different types of lending.
Knowledge of Enforcement Processes:
- Possess a deep understanding of SARFAESI (Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act), arbitration, and other enforcement-related processes.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory developments to ensure the technical processes are compliant with the latest standards and practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and develop a diverse team.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and evaluate technical professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of technical evaluation processes, valuation reports, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with SARFAESI, arbitration, and enforcement processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Finance, or related discipline).
- Previous experience in managing technical teams or technical processes, especially in the valuation or financial services industry.
- Experience with alternative investment platforms or lending operations is a plus.
