Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies to evaluate the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications.
• Develop test scripts and scenarios using LoadRunner to simulate real-world user loads and analyze application performance.
• Monitor system performance during test execution and identify bottlenecks, issues, and potential optimizations.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and other engineering teams to understand application architecture and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze performance test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct performance tuning and work closely with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in the creation of performance testing frameworks and tools as needed.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in performance testing and maintain test documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with LoadRunner for performance testing and scripting.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, and scalability testing.
• Proficient in analyzing application performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks in the system.
• Experience with monitoring tools and technologies to gather system metrics during tests.
• Good understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
