Sr. NET Core 8 Developer

Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Experience Range: 6-10 years

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, including: - At least 4 years of hands-on experience with .NET framework and .NET Core. - Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Web API, Entity Framework/Core. - Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. - Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases. - Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions. - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Other Requirements: - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Development: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using .NET technologies. - Implement best practices in coding, debugging, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Technical Leadership: - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Drive technical discussions and decisions around architecture and design. Project Execution: - Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Estimate development efforts and participate in project planning and scheduling. - Ensure timely delivery of projects while meeting quality standards. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with the latest .NET framework updates, tools, and industry trends. - Propose and implement improvements in development processes and methodologies. - Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the growth of the team. Collaboration and Support: - Collaborate effectively with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing of applications. - Work with DevOps teams to automate build, release, and deployment processes. - Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues as needed.
