Sr. Data Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise data pipeline design and development.
• Provide technical expertise in data warehouse architecture and management.
• Define and document processes related to data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
• Participate in solution architecture requirements gathering and evaluate business needs and objectives to inform architecture design.
• Extend company's data with third party sources of information when needed.
• Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Effectively communicate complex issues and solutions
• Manage multiple projects with tight, sometimes overlapping deadlines.
• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedure, cursor, triggers) and database security.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Suggest & implement new queries.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

Must Have skills:

• MS SQL Server, SSIS

Good to have Skills:

• Power BI
