Scrum Masters

As customer continues on it's successful growth path, we're now looking to add 2 additional Mid-Level Scrum Masters to our Development team. In this role you'll work with the entire organisation to help deliver business value frequently and with quality, and you'll be expected to leverage industry-accepted best practices, including Scrum and Scaled Agile (SAFe) as part of a distributed multi-team Agile release cycle. Ideally, you'll have a strong development background and excellent knowledge of the Scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. You'll also need the ability to co-ordinate people and projects with your mind set on deliverables. If you're a strong communicator, a capable leader and you live-eat-breathe the Agile space, we'd like to meet you.

Let's talk about the role responsibilities:

• Leading two or more teams as part of a distributed multi-team Agile release cycle
• Co-ordinating Sprint ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and retrospectives
• Helping software development teams apply the Scrum framework
• Planning deliverables and helping teams monitor performance
• Resolving issues that hinder the teams' work
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Working with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolving conflicts and removing obstacles that occur
• Helping teams implement changes effectively
• Ensuring deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each Sprint
• Guiding development teams to higher Scrum maturity
• Reporting on team and individual performance metrics
• Championing ongoing Agile process improvements
• Managing escalations and defect resolutions

Let's talk about your skills/expertise:

• 4+ years' Scrum Master experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and expert knowledge of Agile best practices
• Proven track record leading multiple distributed Scrum teams as part of a multi-Sprint Agile release cycle
• Experience scaling Agile in an engineering organisation of fifty software engineers or more in size
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) on enterprise-scale projects.
• Sufficient technical background to accurately and objectively evaluate complex program/project risks and technical issues
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and servant leadership skills
• Natural problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities with outstanding organizational skills
• Applicable Agile qualification (CSM, PSM, SAFe etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience highly desired
• Start-up and scale-up experience with an emphasis on organisational effectiveness
• Experience working with Atlassian suite, particularly Jira & Confluence
• Experience with Web, mobile, big data, and cloud technologies.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery experience desired.
