We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The Scrum Master will facilitate and support our Agile development process, ensuring the team follows Scrum practices and principles. The ideal candidate is passionate about Agile methodologies, has a strong understanding of software development, and excels in communication and leadership.
Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Plan and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Support the Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for the next sprint.
Promote Agile Practices: Advocate for and coach the team on Agile and Scrum best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with Scrum principles.
Monitor Progress: Track team progress through metrics such as burn-down charts, velocity, and other Agile tools, providing transparency to stakeholders.
Facilitate Communication: Foster open communication within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Team Collaboration: Promote a collaborative team environment where all team members feel safe to contribute and share ideas.
Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role. Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
Agile Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions, with a focus on removing impediments for the team.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Preferred Qualifications Technical Background: Previous experience in software development or technical roles.
