Join Global Calcium Pharma as an R&D Chemist/ Junior Research Associate
Responsibilities:
As a key member of the R&D team, you will:
Research and Development:
- Conduct research to develop new chemical compounds and formulations for pharmaceutical applications.
- Perform literature reviews to stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the field.
Chemical Synthesis:
- Design and execute chemical synthesis experiments to develop innovative products.
- Optimize synthetic routes to improve yield, quality, and scalability.
Process Optimization and Scale-Up:
- Evaluate and refine processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up lab processes for pilot and commercial production.
Analysis and Characterization:
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy, to characterize and validate products.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on experimental results and findings.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all R&D activities adhere to regulatory and quality standards, including GMP and FDA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and analytical tools such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and NMR.
- Strong knowledge of chemical synthesis, purification, and reaction mechanisms.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical R&D or a related industry will be an advantage.
