Glassbeam - Junior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing (2-6 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Must be exposed to executing tests with appropriate techniques (manually or using test automation tools) and documenting testing failures.

- Must be adept in executing early testing, eliminating defects early, and reducing bug-fixing costs and time.

- Must have exposure to utilizing CI/CD tools integration, operations, and automation of CI testing & troubleshooting issues along the CI/CD pipeline

- Write clean, high-quality scripts that automatically test product functionality, covering various systems, networks, applications, databases, and software regression tests.

- Manage the entire testing activity with different test management tools. Create Test plans, which involve defining the testing objectives and the approach for meeting test objectives and managing Test Strategies based on project requirements and schedules.

- The candidate should have the skills to analyze the Defects and identify the root cause.

- Troubleshoot defects so they do not affect product quality and inform about test progress against a quality management schedule.

- Report defects to software developers by recording software defects with a bug-tracking system. (e.g Bugzilla, mantis, Yodiz, etc.)

- Conduct different test procedures, report issues, follow up on their status, and collaborate with the software Engineering team to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.

- Participate in Sprint planning to define the sprint scope. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find ways to improve workflow through automation.

Qualification :

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical engineering, or any related field is preferred.

- Candidates with relevant work experience with an undergraduate degree in STEM may also be considered.
