Wordpress Developer - PHP/Javascript (2-3 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the design team to implement and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites.

- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements and enhance website functionality.

- Customize existing themes and plugins to match clients' branding and design guidelines.

- Optimize website performance by implementing efficient coding practices, caching mechanisms, and leveraging appropriate plugins.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless website functionality across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to integrate their work into WordPress websites.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and implement them to improve our websites.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related issues or bugs that arise, ensuring timely resolution to minimize website downtime.

- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, including performing regular backups, updates, and security enhancements.

- Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization techniques, including metadata optimization, URL structure, and XML sitemaps.

Required Skills :

- 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development, including creating custom themes, plugins, and functionalities.

- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices and on-page optimization techniques.

- Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues efficiently.
