Job Purpose :

As HIL Senior Test engineer you shall be responsible to become an extended part of the Product development team working at IIC to create HIL automation test bench for the Embedded Medical Device and work towards the project deliverables and product roadmap.

Core responsibility is to deliver results on time, with quality, on specs and at required quality level.

Key Duties And Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Development of HIL Test Setup for testing Electronic Hardware and firmware.

- Responsible for requirement analysis, effort estimation and work breakdown.

- Responsible for writing Test specification, Test automation in HIL environment, execution of Test automation and reporting of test defects.

- Responsible for all activities of the Hardware-in-Loop test team with aim to improve overall Competency within the team.

- Report writing and presenting technical information to wide audience.

- Stay up to date on regulatory standards, brand guidelines and design best practices.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience :

The Validation/Verification Engineer (HIL) needs formal education within :

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.

- The Validation/Verification Engineer (HIL) Need Competence.

- 8 to 10 years of Experience as HIL test engineer/ Embedded Test Engineer/ Test Lead.

- Ability to design, develop and test Embedded/ HIL test systems.

- Good understanding of HIL simulation using tools like LabVIEW, MATLAB Simulink.

- Test automation framework expertise on Python and LabVIEW.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Embedded C/C++.

- Ability to write automation scripts.

- Understanding of electronics Firmware and Hardware design.

- Supervision/Management Of Others.

- Managing team of software engineers and verification experts.

- Internal And External Contacts.

- Systems Engineering: Gather inputs on system integration touch points.

- Hardware & Firmware Teams : Provide inputs to HW team on test hooks/interfaces to be incorporated into the design.

- Quality Team : Understand tool validation requirements and design test setup based on the need.

Special Features/Conditions :

- The role requires local and international travelling in order to stay close to major stakeholders.

- Traveling 20% mostly domestic travel to consultant companies.
