General Manager - Risk Analytics - FinTech (5-9 yrs)

Functional Expertise:

- Hands on approach on building analytical capabilities for unsecured & secured lending

- Experience in risk side of both secured & unsecured lending

- Closely monitor ECL across lenders & develop methodologies to forecast loss based on early losses

- Assess segment level profitability of various risk cohorts which helps in creating trigger points for opening opportunity segments & closing unprofitable cohorts

- Promote a self-service culture by understanding the trends and behaviors in the Risk and drive through the appropriate enhancements to ensure maximum utilization of reporting and analytics toolsets

- Effectively navigate complex problems and ensure systematic problem-solving where risk problems are analyzed, options evaluated, and decisions aligned with company Values

Problem Solving:

- Ongoing data analysis to create actionable insights, segmentations for controlling risk and identifying opportunities

- Driving risk analytics horizontally for all lending products across - Underwriting, Portfolio management, Fraud and Collection strategy

Interaction:

- Work and collaborate closely with Business, Product, Tech and Data Science Engineers and learn innovative and evolving usage and tools for data and risk management.

- Collaborating with teams like - Data Science, Product, Business to setup and monitor data use cases, new capabilities towards improvement of existing policies and processes, there by finding opportunities for implementing better control

- 4+ years of Risk Analytics and Portfolio Management experience in Financial Services/Fintech preferably in Credit Card / Unsecured Loan

Skills & know-how - Hands-on experience of defining risk strategies, managing portfolio and building risk models along with problem solving and analytical thinking

- Adept in quantitative analysis, data mining, trend analysis and creating insights within large data eco-system. Proficiency in data tools like SQL/Python

- Experience of Bureau Data Management and designing Risk Strategies using the same
