Advisory Operations (Mutual Fund)

General brief about the role:

The Assistant Manager/Manager in Advisory Operations will be responsible for supporting investment advisory services focused on mutual funds. This role involves building client relationships, providing insights on mutual fund products, assisting with portfolio planning, and ensuring that clients' investment goals align with Geojit's advisory recommendations. The role requires a combination of financial knowledge, analytical skills, and client-oriented communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mutual Fund analysis (equity as well as debt) on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and provide report of Recommended funds, Funds Under Review, Funds in Focus, SIP Performance, MF Buzz, Fund Mangers column/interview if any etc. to Corporate Communication for publishing in Geojit Insights.
• Review data, content, alignment etc. of draft file of Geojit Insight Magazine after receiving the files from corporate communication.
• Collect and check the due diligence form from newly enrolling AMCs and periodically updating the same from all the AMCs which are already validated with us.
• Prepare MF Portfolio Analysis/ Investment proposal requests coming from branches.
• Handle general queries related to MF and other Financial Market products.
• Ensure compliance of IA division.
• Prepare half yearly Periodic report of Investment Adviser and uploading the same in BSE site. Take approval for the advertisement creatives from Compliance Department and BASL.
• Take up the corrections suggested by compliance team and inform the same with marketing team & advertisement agency for the rectification.
• Share approved advertisement creatives along with the application number, which is to be mentioned while publishing it, with the marketing team Upload Published advertisement in BSE site.
• Coordinate with accounts department and the marketing department for the payment of advertisement approval request.
