Job Title : Sr Engineering Manager.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading agile product and digital engineering teams, with a focus on the US healthcare or life science industry.
As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and delivery of innovative products and solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Senior Engineering manager will be responsible for successful delivery of solutions and services to our clients.
- Lead and manage agile product and digital engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Project where code reviews, Adept at debug and trouble shoot defects and should have expertise in mentoring and train software developers.
- Should have development experience in building healthcare digital applications using angular and or react technology along with strong expertise in integrating with backend applications using python / .Net technologies.
- Should have played as lead roles in software development and software engineering projects in US health care with responsibilities as in (Engineering Managers, technical lead).
- Should have good experience and knowledge in leading high, low-level design and coordinate with architects to build highly resilient product development.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering at least 1 complex projects in the US healthcare or life science sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and implement agile methodologies and best practices to optimize team performance and efficiency.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
- Oversee the entire product/project lifecycle, from concept development to launch and post-launch support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, tools, and workflows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in a senior management role, with a focus on agile product and digital engineering.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills with experience in building and managing high-performing quality engineering teams from the ground up focused on mentoring, accountability, and results-oriented team building.
- Mentor and transform traditional test engineers to deliver quality transformation using modern testing tools for digital applications on .net, full stack, reactive UI Designs on Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience working with US healthcare firm.
- Track record of managing end-to-end and delivering complex quality engineering client engagements, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple delivery tracks with conflicting priorities.
- Should be a problem solver and handled quality improvement initiatives like defect prevention techniques, shift left, production leakage containment, etc.
- Deep appreciation of agile product development technologies both On Prem and Cloud Native applications.
- Should be a staunch advocate of SDET principles.
- Experienced in advocating and suggesting appropriate testing tools for test management, test execution cutting across testing functional, UI, API, large data and complex systems.
- Should be conversant and implemented at least one testing tool using AI to accelerate digital applications quality engineering for clients.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Cultural sensitivity while working with global teams and inclusive mindset to deal with diverse experiences.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
