Job role :

Job role : Engineering or Technical Manager

Educational qualification : ME/MTech-Computer Science, BE/BTech - Computer Science.

Job location : Koramangala, Bangalore. We work from the Office.

What you will be doing :

- You will be the Engineering Manager for the company.

- You will have the skills needed to guide and support your team to achieve their technical goals.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Design, develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.

- Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high quality, scalable and maintainable code.

- Interact between Management and the team.

- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of

software.

- Ensure the product meets performance, security and reliability standards.

- Oversees Testing and Quality Assurance standards

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for the team.

- Define and execute technical policies, standards and procedures for application development and maintenance

- Client interaction with regards to product delivery, implementation and support.

- Should have a sound understanding of the SDLC process.

- Analyse and resolve technical and application problems.

- Should have a 60 % - 40 % skill make up of tech and management.

Core skill required :

- In-depth knowledge of .NET framework like C#.net , ASP.net , ADO.net, HTML , CSS, JavaScript.

- Proficiency in Angular 2+ and related front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.

- Must have good exposure on query writing and DB management for writing stored procedures/user defined functions.

- Implement new technologies to maximize application performance.

- Should have a solid understanding of Project architecture.

- Good Understanding of Agile Methodology.

- Project management, project control, project estimation and scheduling.

- Implement new technologies to maximize application performance.

- Quality Management Process implementation skills

- Release Management experience.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Primary skills :

- BE/B-Tech/MCA/ M.Tech, 8+ years of experience in .NET Framework like C#.Net/ ASP.Net

- Minimum 10 years of experience on Web Application development , DotNet core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery

- Been a Technical / Engineering Manager and managed a team of 6-10 people for a period of 1 -2 years at least.

Secondary skills :

- Experience in developing a product.

- Proven experience of delivering the product on-time and with quality

- Should have experience in developing ERP applications or Database Intensive Data Entry application

Desired Skills :

- PMP/CSM certification

- Should have experience in Test Driven development using Nunit, Jasmine and Protractor

- Experience in project management life cycle process

- Hands on experience of configuration management and version maintenance

- Prior experience of working in the shipping domain or HSE is an added advantage.
