Job Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- The ideal candidate will possess a solid track record of delivering high-quality projects using agile methodologies while driving innovation and collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and deliver multiple data engineering projects on time, within scope, and budget.

- Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and analysts, to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

Agile Expertise:

- Oversee project delivery using agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.

- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Promote continuous improvement within teams and implement agile best practices.

Data Engineering Focus:

- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of projects involving ETL pipelines, data workflows, and SQL.

- Align data engineering deliverables with organizational goals and ensure the integration of robust solutions.

- Provide guidance on technical challenges, ensuring optimal use of resources and technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders to align on project priorities.

- Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and achievements to stakeholders and sponsors.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project goals meet business requirements.

Team Leadership:

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

- Mentor and guide team members to achieve project objectives and grow professionally.

- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to enable team success.

Risk and Issue Management:

- Identify potential risks and issues across multiple projects and develop mitigation strategies.

- Monitor project health and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-12 years of project management experience with a focus on Data Engineering projects.

- Agile Knowledge: Strong expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

- Data Engineering: Knowledge of ETL tools, data pipelines, and advanced SQL.

- Multi-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage technical and business audiences.

- Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

Good to Have Skills:

- Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMP.

- Familiarity with cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
