Job Description:

As a Compliance and Legal Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining statutory records and registers as per the Companies Act.

- Support in organizing board meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting minutes.

- File necessary forms and returns with regulatory authorities like MCA and ROC.

- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

- Ensure legal documentation complies with current laws and company policies.

- Handle legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when necessary.

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.

Required Qualifications:

- Education: Semi-qualified Company Secretary (CS) with at least 3 years of experience working with a Company Secretary.

- LLB/LLM degree is a plus.

Experience:

- Proven experience in handling company secretarial matters and legal compliance.

- Strong understanding of Indian company law and regulations.

- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Meticulous attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
