Senior Manager - Indirect Purchase (7-10 yrs)

- Guide the team on strategic sourcing and operational procurement processes.

- Work collaboratively with dispersed stakeholders to develop strategic category plans for procurement supporting the Project and Plant Teams.

- Gain alignment on sourcing and negotiation strategies and short/long term category roadmaps.

- Develop supplier management strategy to reduce and consolidate global suppliers.

- Develop negotiation plans aligned with stakeholder desired outcomes for TCO, SLAs and key business terms (INCO Terms etc.)

- Set governance mechanism to review buyer/supplier performance specifically for PR/PO status, delivery performance, commissioning and Payment issues

- Manage process compliance during all phases of ordering to ensure that there are no audit observations/process gaps

- Influence decision makers at all levels by presenting business case, spend-cost analysis and performance metrics

- Lead cross functional teams and serve as the Procurement lead for the stakeholders & team and guide them on strategic sourcing and operational procurement processes.

- Support Execution of Capital Projects on time within Budget

- Realign Business Process of Indirect Procurement and collaborate with all stake holders to develop a Technology Road Map for the function.

- Ensure cost efficiency with regards to the relevant commodity procurement

- On Time Delivery of Project, Required Delivery Date Vs Actual Delivery Date

- Realize certain percentage of year over year savings in sourcing for common capital equipment's (project related) considering inflationary and other exceptional cost

Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG Degree in Engineering

- 10-12 yrs. of sourcing and negotiating experience in green field and brown field projects

- 3-5 Experience in Shop floor or user type profile is desirable
