Role & responsibilities


  • Sales Strategy Development: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive company sales. - Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Team Management: - Recruit, train, and manage a sales team. - Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team. - Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching. - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Sales Operations Management: - Oversee day-to-day sales operations. - Ensure efficient use of CRM and other sales tools. - Manage sales budgets and expenditures. - Coordinate with marketing and other departments to align sales efforts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. - Handle high-level client interactions and negotiations. - Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis. - Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on sales performance.
  • Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities. - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. - Develop strategies to gain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Sales Training and Development: - Develop and implement training programs for the sales team. - Ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and industry standards. - Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: - Develop and manage the sales department budget. - Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI. - Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet financial goals.
  • Compliance and Ethics: - Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies and industry regulations. - Promote ethical behavior and integrity within the team. - Handle any compliance-related issues or investigations.
  • Innovation and Improvement: - Identify and implement innovative sales techniques and tools. - Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes and performance. These responsibilities are crucial for ensuring the sales department operates efficiently and effectively, ultimately contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.



Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in sales management.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and techniques, with hands-on experience in implementing digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales/marketing tools.
