Database Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY
We are hiring for the profile of Oracle PL/SQL developer for our company (Gemini Solutions). We are seeking a Developer with knowledge and understanding of the complete development process (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Verification, and Maintenance). The successful candidate should be excellent in Oracle PL/SQL with 3+ years of relevant experience. (Financial Domain Preferred)

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
Develop, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL as well as T-SQL stored program units
such as a procedures, functions, packages and database triggers. (Experience with large
data sets required)
Participate in various project and new initiative as a technical resource involving Oracle
Server and SQL Server, as well as performing duties as documenting requirements,
mapping and program logic, designing solutions, testing and implementation
Experience in migrating database from one version to another or from one database to
another
Understand and interpret customer requirement and develop solutions to meet
requirements.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data
mapping, program logic and flowcharts
Design and development of software using primarily PL/SQL batch processing

GOOD TO HAVE
The individual must exhibit a great deal of personal initiative and accountability.
Proficiency in data science and analytics.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a growing company or agency.
Good Understanding of AGILE development approach.
Learn and master database schema of complex third-party enterprise applications
Datawarehouse experience and knowledge
Snowflake and AWS knowledge is a plus

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree or masters in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering
or a relevant field
