About the Role :

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and experienced Performance Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of Performance Testing methodologies and tools.

In this role, you should have a passion for quality and will work closely with developers, product managers and quality engineers on performance test strategies, performance frameworks, tests development, test executions as well as metrics reporting.

The successful candidate must have excellent skills in performance testing and monitoring tools with exposure to performance tuning.

The selected candidate will create infrastructure, automation, and tools that drive realistic loads against the core services of our clients.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the services under load using various tools and suggesting tuning to optimize the same.

This is a client facing opportunity and strong communication skills is a must.

Responsibilities :

- 4+years relevant experience in IT performance testing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.

- Expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter, Load Runner / Performance Centre.

- Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests.

- Monitor application logs to determine system behavior.

- Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.

- Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.

- Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.

- Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.

- Design Performance test scripts for enterprise applications based on requirements.

- Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes.

- Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities.

- Run and manage performance test campaigns.

- Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports.

- Identify parameter for testing and design workload models.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree or master's in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
