Data Entry Specialist Lower Parel Mumbai

We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist who will be responsible for inputting, updating, and managing various types of data related to pharmaceutical products, inventory, sales, and customer information within the company's database/CRM system. The role will require strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Input & Maintenance:
• Accurately enter product details, including descriptions, prices, and stock levels, into the companys database or inventory management system.
• Update and maintain client records, ensuring contact information, order history, and account details are current.
• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, with a focus on minimizing errors.
• Review data input for consistency, accuracy, and completeness before finalizing.
• Recommend improvements to streamline data entry processes and enhance data accuracy.
• Use software tools and systems to update, manage, and track data related to pharmaceutical trading.
• Product Inventory Management:
• Record pharmaceutical product movement, stock levels, and order status in real-time.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and document these in the system.
• Assist with regular inventory audits, ensuring product information matches physical stock.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, procurement, and logistics) to ensure smooth flow and accuracy of information.
• Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or certification in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Data Management) is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products/APIs, terminology, and regulations is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, office-based position.
