Industrial Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering and strong analytical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting data analysis to improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and optimize resource utilization. This role will require the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse production data and operational metrics to identify areas for process improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Use statistical tools and data analysis techniques to assess production performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize workflows.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in the design and optimization of layouts, material flow, and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with various departments, including production, quality, and supply chain, to drive effective problem-solving and operational improvements.
• Contribute to the development of strategies to reduce costs and improve overall manufacturing processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, MATLAB, R, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts, such as lean manufacturing, process optimization, and Six Sigma.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Knowledge of ERP and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control tools.
