Qa Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA or other bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure compatibility testing across different browsers and devices.
• Work closely with the development team to implement best QA practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing and test case creation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts in Java/Python (or relevant language).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
