QA Engineer

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong   knowledge of manual testing techniques, test case creation, test execution,   and defect reporting.
• Perform   API testing using tools like Postman
• Proficiency   in at least one automation tool like Selenium or Playwright
• Familiarity   with scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar for   test automation.
• Knowledge   of Version control systems (Git).

Good to have skills:

• Performance Testing tools like JMeter or K6 or Load Runner
• Appium for mobile test automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and stability of applications.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for regression testing using industry-standard tools.
• Embrace Shift Left Testing by working closely with developers, product   owners, and business analysts to integrate testing early in the development   process and ensure effective test coverage.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and help track and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Document and report test results and defects to the development team, and work to ensure issues are addressed.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools, with a focus on maximizing test efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data, environments, and testing frameworks.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, to ensure the correct behavior of RESTful APIs.
