SEO Content Writer

Role & responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content, including blogs, articles, website copy, and other marketing materials.
• SEO Expertise: Optimize content using advanced SEO techniques, ensuring high rankings on SERPs.
• Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to identify trends and opportunities.
• Content Strategy: Plan, create, and execute content strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with content writers and SEO executives to deliver SEO-focused and engaging content for blogs and websites.
• On-Page SEO: Implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, header optimization, and content structuring, to maximize search engine visibility.
• Internal Linking: Optimize and implement internal linking strategies to improve site navigation, link equity, and search rankings.
• Image Optimization: Ensure all content includes optimized images, including proper alt text, sizing, and compression, to improve website performance.
• CMS Knowledge: Work efficiently with content management systems (like WordPress) to upload, format, and publish content.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools and make necessary adjustments to improve results.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in SEO content writing with a strong portfolio of published work.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO principles, including on-page SEO, internal linking, and image optimization techniques.
• Experience in website copywriting is a plus.
• Expertise in keyword research tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
• Strong creative writing skills to craft engaging and audience-focused content.
• Experience collaborating with and managing content writers and SEO executives to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality content.
• Proficiency in using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) for content management and publishing.
• Basic understanding of content analytics and how to measure content performance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
