Job Title: Tool Maker
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool Maker to join our team. The Tool Maker will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining precision Injection Moulds to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of machining techniques, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills to ensure tools meet production requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Tool Design & Fabrication: Manufacture and repair Plastic Injection Moulds to meet design specifications and production needs.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and CAD designs to create or modify tools.
• Machining Operations: Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision machinery to produce high-quality tools.
• Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests on tools to ensure they meet dimensional and functional standards.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on tools and dies to prevent production downtime.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues during manufacturing processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize tool performance and address any design challenges.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool specifications, maintenance schedules, and modifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of tool-making materials and properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• 10/12 pass with hands on experience in Mold Making, ITI/Diploma in Tool & Die Making.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and tools.
• Manual dexterity and precision for working with small components.
• Standing for extended periods during Mold assembly and Triouts.
