Content Writer

Position Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Content Writer with a background in journalism and exposure to market-specific newspapers or online platforms.
• The ideal candidate should have 3-8 years of experience crafting compelling content, including interviews, press releases, newsletters, and more preferably in IT space.
• This role will require you to create engaging and informative content that aligns with the companys goals, amplifies its voice in the market, and enhances its communication efforts across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
• Write high-quality, engaging, and well-researched articles, interviews, newsletters, and press releases that resonate with target audiences.
• Develop content that is aligned with the companys brand voice, tone, and style while maintaining journalistic integrity and factual accuracy.
• Press Releases & Media Relations:
• Write and distribute press releases to various media outlets, ensuring proper timing and relevance for maximum visibility.
• Maintain strong media relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders to promote company news, initiatives, and achievements.
• Coordinate with the PR team to ensure consistent messaging across all media channels.
• Interviews & Features:
• Conduct interviews with industry leaders, subject matter experts, and other key individuals to produce insightful and engaging content.
• Write feature articles and profiles that highlight the companys executives, thought leaders, and key partners, enhancing the company’s reputation.
• Newsletters & Internal Communications:
• Write and curate compelling newsletters that effectively communicate key company updates, launches, and industry news.
• Ensure newsletters are aligned with the company’s marketing and communication strategies to engage internal and external audiences.
• Plan, create, and optimize content to ensure it is informative, timely, and tailored to the needs of different audience segments.
• Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
• Stay updated on industry trends, market-specific news, and current events to ensure content remains relevant and timely.
• Use market research to inform content creation and adjust strategies based on audience feedback and engagement metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: A degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a journalist, content writer, or in a similar role with exposure to market-specific newspapers or online platforms.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar, tone, and style.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of journalism, news writing, and PR content creation. Experience in writing for niche markets or specific industries is a plus.
• Content Strategy: Ability to develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals and audience needs.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and engagingly.
• Media Relations: Familiarity with press release writing and distribution, and experience working with media outlets to secure coverage.
• SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for online content creation is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in writing and editing.
• Tools & Platforms: Experience with content management systems (CMS), online publishing platforms, and office software. Knowledge of analytics tools for content performance tracking is a plus.
