Project Specialist

About this role:

This role contributes to the business by supporting the Client Facing Business Unit Communications team. Success criteria for this role includes timely completion of work, consistently high writing quality, completion of high volume of requests within tight timelines, ability to manage own workload including daily requests and ongoing initiatives, ability to work very independently, and ability to function well within the global team.

Role & Responsibilities

- Strategic Projects

• Support deep dive analysis on strategic projects including qualitative interview feedback and support from analytics team

• Project manage the sharing of best practices playbook to drive consistency across teams

- Sales Leadership Meetings

• Support Sr. Director with project management checklists for Sales Leadership meetings

• Manage calendar invitations and timelines

• Manage DL process

• Create Intranet pages pre, during and post event

- Inside Gartner

• Support publishing of articles for stakeholders

• Partner with Sr. Director Sales Intranet, GBS and GTS Sales comms leads to strategically manage rotation of banners and announcements and overall editorial calendar

- Analytics support

• Support Data analyst with project management and timelines

• Manage manual requests as needed by partnering with Data Analyst

- Recognition programs

• Support manager with coordination and management of recognition programs

- Manage timelines and setback schedules for Town Hall programs (Vimeo and Notified tools)

- Support the management and allocation of projects via project management tool Jira

- Support team with quality control and peer reviews adhering to the Gartner Style guidelines and Brand

- All other duties as assigned

What you ll need

• Bachelor s degree preferred

• 2+ years business experience working information technology industry, in a fast paced customer service environment, preferred.

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Capacity to manage high stress situations

• Attention to detail

• The ability to prioritize, complete multiple assignment and coordinate and monitor workflow.

• Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to manage a project from start to finish.

• Capacity to work on multiple projects at once, and also to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

• Expert skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience working with confidential material in a discreet and professional way.
