Job Title: Engineer QA & QC
Job Summary:-
We are seeking an experienced QA & QC Engineer for our quality management system, primarily responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards by conducting inspections, analyzing data, identifying potential issues, implementing quality control procedures, and working with production teams to maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:-
Quality Standard Enforcement: Understanding and applying relevant industry quality standards to all manufacturing processes and products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Inspection and Testing: Performing routine inspections at various stages of production, conducting necessary tests on materials and finished products to identify defects or non-conformance with standards.
Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing inspection data to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control Plans: Developing and implementing detailed quality control plans outlining inspection procedures, sampling methods, and acceptance criteria for each product.
Document Control: Maintaining accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, calibration records, and other quality-related documents. Achieving Quality targets as per Control Plan by Ensuring receiving inspection of pre-machined Material, In-process Material and Pre-dispatch Material. Maintaining all Supported Data Sheet of Inspection
Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement to minimize defects and enhance product quality, proposing changes to manufacturing procedures based on data analysis. Setting of Gauges, Availability and Proper Handling of Gauges / Measuring Instrument at Machine and all Inspection Area and Returning of same after use to Gauge Issuer. Identification, Availability, Proper Handling and Issuing of Tools, Spares and Fixtures. Maintaining records of same.
Training and Awareness: Providing training to production personnel on quality standards, inspection procedures, and proper documentation practices.
Non-Conformance Management: Investigating non-conforming products, initiating corrective actions, and ensuring proper documentation of corrective actions taken.
Auditing and Reporting: Conducting internal quality audits to identify areas of improvement and generating comprehensive quality reports for management review.
Collaboration: Working closely with production teams, engineering teams, and other departments to identify and address quality concerns.
Requirements:-
Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in auto components Industry.
Knowledge: Understanding of quality management principles, industry standards (e g, ISO 9001, IATF 16949), and foundry processes.
