GalaxEye aims to shape the future of Satellite Image Acquisition, providing the most meaningful dataset, thus helping businesses and governments make data-driven decisions based on insights from satellite imagery. We will provide Satellite Imagery Datasets and Value added services to Geospatial Analytics Companies and Infrastructure enterprises. At GalaxEye , we are working to build the best remote sensing satellite and also we are researching on various aspects of remote sensing.
We are looking for a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Payload System Specialist to join our systems engineering team and and help design, assemble and operate SAR payloads. You will be required to define and support SAR Payload architecture definition in response to customer requirements and/or operational stakeholder needs. Participates in proposals, R&D and study associated with remote sensing development activities.
We are currently seeking candidates with broad understanding of SAR with engineering backgrounds in Electronics, Antennas, RF or Signal Processing. Responsibilities:
To define SAR Payload architecture in response to customer requirements and/or operational stakeholder needs and define Traceability to system requirements
To generate engineering documentations: radar payloads requirements, statement of compliance, budgets, to define the functional and performance of the instrument, to perform requirements flow down, verification and validation matrix, design description, systems budgets, equipment specifications, test requirements, RFD/RFW
To define performance models for SAR Instruments based on advanced architectural features and operating in various space acquisition geometries, including side-looking, squint-looking, forward-looking
To define and support the development of software tools for computing performance parameters of SAR Instruments (e.g. resolution, swath width, ambiguity, resolution, accuracy, among others)
To define and support the development of models and software tools for simulating SAR Instrument functionalities
Perform system worst case analysis, inputs and support to program reviews: SRR, PDR, CDR
Assist in the verification and validation, System assembly Integration and Testing of SAR system
