Job Description
GalaxEye Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites.
Our new age technology enables all-time, all-weather imaging, this with leveraging advanced processing and AI capabilities, we ensure near real-time data delivery and are glad to highlight that we have successfully demonstrated these imaging capabilities, the first of its kind in the world, across various platforms such as Drones as well as HAPS (High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the entire lifecycle for new features beginning from the creativity and design process over taking responsibility for the implementation in both frontend and backend.
- Using a modern reactive approach, you will work on a React-based UI tuned for high performance on the frontend side. We expect experience with UI Design best practices, a good understanding of SPA architecture, and best practices in implementing reusable UI components.
- On the Backend side, you will work on NodeJS, NoSQL DB, and PostgreSQL, building a Geo-spatial database, and thus a solid understanding of both RDMS and NoSQL database is required.
- Moreover, you will come across various technologies, like infrastructure and Cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, and others).
Requirements- Solid experience in Node.js, React and TypeScript; Background in other technologies and platforms is a big plus.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs
- Solid experience in PostgreSQL and one NoSQL DB.
- Comfortable reasoning about distributed systems
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
